Our latest upgrade rolling out from the 7th of August brings you two of the top twenty most requested features in the Ideas Portal.

Gone are the days of writing and re-writing email text. Now you can create a series of scripts and then select the best one for the occasion. In addition, emails sent from the Forms tab to customers can now be stored in simPRO for easy reference.

A different script for each occasion

Before this game changing update, scripts were used to drop quick descriptions into jobs, quotes and invoices. But scripts just got a whole lot better, you can now create scripts specific to emails and write as many of them as you want.

Build personalised emails while still reaping the time-saving benefits of a template. Create as many scripts as your heart desires in System Setup then Scripts.

You could write a two line paragraph that you pop into the top section of an email, thanking your customer for the lovely phone call. And another line telling your customer that they really need to pay up so you can put Milo in a pet hotel during your golfing weekend. If you repeat it, script it!

Navigation gets simple

To accompany an increase in script options, we’ve built a cleaner look for the Scripts page. We’ve re-organised your Scripts so that the most important ones are easily available to you on a horizontal tab menu.

We’ve also improved the ability to assign multiple cost centres to a script with a new drop-down menu. Selecting a Cost centre will display it as a tag for easier viewing.

Quickly access sent customer emails from the activity timeline

Email logging is better than ever because sending emails to customers from the Forms tab is going to create Activity timeline magic. Now, when you enable Email logging, sent emails and their associated attachments will be saved in simPRO and you can view the content on the Activity timeline.
